Eric Clapton Plays Jools Holland’s Show (with video)

Eric Clapton was a guest on the live broadcast of Later ... With Jools Holland, which aired on Tuesday in the U.K. on BBC Two. Accompanied by Chris Stainton (keyboards), Henry Spinetti (drums) and Dave Bronze (bass), the guitar great performed “Travellin’ Alone” and “When Somebody Thinks You’re Wonderful” on a gleaming Gibson Les Paul. Both songs are from his new Clapton album. Check out video of Slowhand’s performance below.

An extended highlights version of the show airs tonight (Friday, November 5) at 11:50 p.m. (GMT) in the U.K. The show will include performances from Kings of Leon, MIA, Vaccines, Bellowhead and Jonathan Jeremiah.
